1. Numerous missing lower teeth and the extent of compromised teeth is clearly visible. Three of the front upper teeth are denture teeth held in by the metallic clasps on the sides. A cross-bite is present and an uneven plane of occlusion. Note the thinness of the gums which makes them prone to recession and adds complexity to any treatment with dental implants.
2. This image demonstrates the appearance of the four upper implants that supported the full prosthesis. Note the flatter thicker and more resilient quality of the gums which is an augmentation that is part of our All on 4 processes for improved outcomes. In the lower the teeth that are visible are part of the lower All On 4 prosthesis.
3. The upper and lower All On 4 treatments are visible on this OPG. A metal bar is present within the prostheses for improved strength and durability. The replacement teeth were immediate. Two back teeth were retained for proprioception.
