Frequent Questions

What is the difference between the free consultation and paid one?

The free consult is with one of our nurses they can guide you with limited information but not specific advice. Whereas a paid consultation is actually with a dentist who is an implant surgeon and can provide more extensive information and specific advice within the limits of a video conference and photographic assessment.

If I am in pain or have loose or broken teeth can I see a dentist at the clinic?

Yes of course. Whilst COVID-19 has impacted routine treatments that can otherwise be deferred, most of our clinics are open and offer emergency treatments as well as limited non-emergency procedures without which there may be a risk of significant deterioration. We are taking extraordinary measures at this critical time to protect each other, our patients and the community. Click here for more information.

Why are you offering online consultations if you are open?

Due to the current situation some patients may be at a higher risk being out and about or might prefer to meet online. We are providing these service to cater to our patients who feel safer this way. Following the online consultation you will have a better idea about your options and can schedule a face-to-face consultation immediately (if urgent) or at a time in the future when restrictions are lifted. If you have consulted with a dentist, then the fee paid for the online consultation will be deducted from your appointment cost when you visit the clinic.

How can the dentist see my teeth online?

Once your appointment is confirmed, you will be prompted to use your phone to take front and side pictures of your teeth. You may also upload additional documents, x-rays, or files in advance of your online consultation to help the dentist (or nurse) prepare for your session.

How much does a consult with a dentist cost?

An online consultation with an implant-dentist is $45. Typically the consultation will take 15 minutes. If additional time is required, you may book a second online consultation, or alternatively face-to-face consultation in your situation is urgent. Please note that the fee that you paid for your online consultation will be deducted from your face-to-face appointment.
